Privacy policy

Connecting X provides your account ID, handle, display name, avatar, and authorization tokens. We use public profile statistics and follower information to operate counters and enabled banners. Your X password is never requested by Followula.

We store account and session details, which may include your IP address and browser information, along with your designs, settings, follower history, and prepared share images. X sign-in uses an internal identifier in place of an email address; it does not provide us your real email address.

Purchases create order references, credit balances, refund records, and usage records. Checkout contact and billing information is handled by Polar. Followula does not collect your full card number. If you contact support, the information you submit is also used to handle that request.

We use this information to authenticate your account, display your counter, make authorized banner changes, deliver purchases, calculate API usage charges, prevent duplicate credits and misuse, investigate errors, and respond to support requests.

Your public counter page, embeds, overlays, and share images can show your X handle, name, avatar, follower count, and selected counter content. Anyone with a public link can view or share it. Enabled live banners can display another follower’s public handle on your X profile. Published screenshots and link previews may remain cached by X or other services after you change them.

The introductory offer records your verified numeric X account ID and a one-time grant reference to prevent duplicate claims. The first 20 eligible new customers can receive $1 in usage credits. Claim reservations expire after 10 minutes; a cancelled or unsuccessful sign-in releases an unclaimed place.

If you add a passkey, we store its public key, credential identifier, name, and authenticator metadata. Your private key and biometric information stay with your device or passkey provider. Passkeys let you sign back in without another X lookup. Sign-in rate limits use short-lived keyed hashes of IP addresses rather than storing the raw address in rate-limit records.

Essential cookies support sign-in, authorization, owner access, promotional reservations, and linking a checkout to the account that claims it. Sign-in sessions last up to 30 days and are renewed through normal use; purchase cookies last up to 30 days. Promotional reservations last 10 minutes. Browser session storage also prevents repeated automatic sign-in prompts. Clearing these before finishing checkout can interrupt the purchase handoff. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Cloudflare hosts the app and stores its account, counter, and billing records. X supplies profile data and handles account authorization. Polar processes checkout and payment information under its privacy policy. These providers may process information in countries other than yours.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to investigate fraud and protect the service.

Detailed API usage audits normally retain 90 days of history. Unresolved requests can be kept longer until reconciled. Daily summaries, purchase records, and financial ledger records are retained for accounting, dispute resolution, and service operation. Account data, settings, and counter history are stored while needed to provide the service or handle a deletion request.

Customer banner credentials are encrypted before storage. Access controls and protected session cookies help secure accounts; no online system can guarantee complete security.

You can disable banner automation and disconnect its authorization from your dashboard. You can revoke Followula’s authorization through your X account settings. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information, contact us through the support page. We may verify account ownership before acting. Records required for accounting, legal obligations, or unresolved disputes may need to be retained.

We update this page when our data practices change and revise the date above. Material changes affecting existing users will be communicated through the service.
